Assessment, treatment and patient care responsibilities are delivered with a knowledge of patient growth and development and are appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Perform as part of the team on the Addiction Treatment Unit (Withdrawal Management) on a rotating basis.
Complete admission history and physicals, devise treatment plans, make daily rounds on admitted patients with appropriate management and documentation, and participate in discharge and aftercare planning.
Diagnoses, treats and prescribes for inpatients and outpatients in area of specialty within the limits of privileges; serves as attending physician of record for patientsCompletes all documentation in patient medical records.
Educates and counsels patient, family and caregivers on medical condition, medications prescribed, plan of care and follow-up to treatment; participates in discharge planning process as appropriate.
Placement of IVs, nasogastric tubes and Foley catheters are to be done by the staff nurses.
If a nurse has attempted the procedure at least twice without success, the Hospitalist performs the procedure wherever and whenever possible.
Abides by all hospital and Medical department rules and regulations.
Is especially aware of the hospital's policies concerning IV potassium administration, blood transfusion, IV additives/medications and chemotherapy guidelines.
Is aware of consent for procedure policies and requests autopsies on all deaths when they are in attendance.
Abides by all Medical record department rules.

Develops and expand outpatient addiction treatment services through expansion of office-based addiction services and primary care, including buprenorphine services.
Serve as a knowledge source and advisor to mid-level providers including nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Precept and educate medical trainees when applicable.
Participation in periodic department meetings.
Requirements:
Completion of addiction medicine fellowship preferred.
DATA 2000 - buprenorphine waiver to 100.
(Waiver to 275 is preferred)Valid NJ Medical LicenseValid NJ DEA and NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances Licenses.
Telehealth component anticipated.
Familiarity with HIV and HCV management preferred but not required Recommended Skills Administration Blood Transfusions Conflict Management Customer Service Infection Control Medical Records Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
