EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
Current registration for:
RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CCA requiredEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five years inpatient coding/abstracting experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Data entry knowledge.
Computer knowledge.
Understands and adheres to the Medical Center's Code of Conduct.
Familiar with the Medical Center's Mission, Vision, and Values Statements.
Recommended Skills Certified Coding Specialist Conflict Management Data Entry Health Information Management Registered Health Information Administrator Registered Health Information Technician Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
