Paramus, NJ Paramus, NJ Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $50,000 - $65,000 a year $50,000 - $65,000 a year Position Summary Our party and event manager must be a fun, outgoing, peppy leader, who measures their success in the smiles that leave Humdingers after attending an event or party.
This key asset reports to the General Manager directly.
The Party & Event Manager's primary job responsibility is to run the party office and market and advertise for our location.
Majority of time includes booking birthday parties via on-site in-person bookings and retrieving our online bookings.
A major component to this position is training and the scheduling party coaches to staff the parties.
The continual training is a key task to ensure the highest quality party and 100% success rate.
The Party & Event Manger will be able to host birthday parties as needed upon staff shortage or host group events.
The Party & Event manager will look for new ways to increase birthday party and group business.
Attend trade events such as the Tri-State Camping Conference & and other such events.
The Party & Event Manager must be willing to care for others and make sure all birthday party and group events are run smoothly without incident and moreover a positive experience for all who attend.
Party & Group Event Manager Responsibilities Include:
Working at least one weekend day, holidays and nights during events.
Supervise, direct and schedule all Party & Event Staff Booking and scheduling of parties and events in coordination with facilities capacities Coordinate with food and beverage team along with other departments to make sure all requirements are met for upcoming parties and events.
Develop and book Group, Corporate and Team Building packages.
Work with the GM on advertising and marketing of party and group packages.
Follow up parties and events with Thank You's and player surveys by email and/or phone Review birthday party packages with management team Market to Day Camps, Fundraisers, IBPP, etc.
