Our client is an established, global and rapidly expanding advisory corporation.
Responsibilities:
This Associate Director will lead the security incident response process, including the ongoing monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities as well as respond to major security events
Lead advanced computer forensic investigative functions related to various forms of malware analysis, computer intrusion, denial of service, theft of information, and multi-national organized criminal groups
Report findings to executive leadership team regarding high profile/high impact incidents, support personnel investigations
Provide requirements for dashboards or platform specific consoles/repositories as well as implement instrumentation oversight of security tools and information security monitoring systems that are operated by the IT organization
Continuously expand the usage of security monitoring tools to improve the security of the environment including detection, prevention and policy enforcement, defining security configuration for monitoring tools, including alerts, correlation rules and reporting
Function as the Subject Matter Expert for security monitoring and incident response
Participate on internal focus groups to help define security requirements, specific to monitoring and response for new and emerging technologies
Play an instrumental role in the development of organizations security monitoring and incident response strategy
Requirements:
8
years of Security Monitoring experience and incident response activities
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to understand complex problems while formally presenting them simplistically
Strong knowledge of incidence response and crisis management, ability to identify both tactical and strategic solutions
Expert on Malware Analysis, virus exploitation and migration techniques, including experience with RSA envision, RSA NetWitness and RSA Security Analytics
Ability to lead meetings, resource allocation and influence
CISSP
